Activity timeline in BackTrack

You all might be familiar with the BackTrack screen in SOVA accessible by clicking the eye icon at the top of Live Dispatch and shown below. This screen allows you to populate a map with activities by your security team around a select date and time range of interest. Each of these activities are shown with a colored pin on the map, where the position is where the activity took place and the color represents the color defined for the user in their profile.

We've added a feature allowing more granular control over how this data is presented. By plotting activity levels on a line chart over a three day window, a security supervisor can easily see when activity levels are the greatest, and when it seems the security team might not be maintaining a level of activity necessary for an adequate level of protection of the property.

In the screen below, click the button labeled "Activity":

The screen should look like below. If you see NO DATA where the line chart should be, don't worry. It just means that the current date has no data to chart. In this case, you can click the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the chart, and select a different date.

A lot of information is at your fingertips so take the time to review. First, the map is showing the positioning of security officers during a three hour window represented in the middle section of the line chart below, which is currently set at Nov 5th, 2019, between 10am and 1pm. In the line chart, higher levels indicate higher levels of activity for the given hour. For example, between 1-2pm, the team at the Island Suites logged 46 activity points, but between 10-11am, only logged 5 activity points. Remember, all activities recorded in SOVA are assigned a point value, from scanning a checkpoint, to incident response, to posting at the entrance to your business. If your team is idle, not recording activities and the device is motionless, the activity levels will be very low during that time.

Below, I've expanded the range of time I'm interested in by dragging the blue bar at the bottom of the chart, then clicking at the left and right edges of the blue bar and dragging left or right to increase (expand) the time range. The date range selected in the screen below is 11/4/19 from 1700 hours to 11/5/19 0300 hours:

After clicking the "Load Map" button, the screen looks like below. I've placed my mouse over a single point on the line chart for 11/06/2019 at 0300-0400 hours, showing an activity point level of 52 points for that hour. You can click any point along the line chart to show activities in the map above for a single hour of time.
