AED Regular Maintenance Inspection
The AED Inspection done by using SOVA is similar in content to the routine inspections that are required when you have an AED at your place of business, however many states require that AED programs have what's called "Physician Oversight" or "Medical Direction" as a part of their overall AED plan. We do not currently offer a Physician Oversight component. If you live in the U.S., it's important to review your individual state laws to determine if Medical Direction or Physician Oversight is required.
Record an AED Inspection:
- Navigate to Logs.
- In the "Select Log Type" dropdown, select " AED Monthly Maintenance and Inspection "
- Click the green " Add AED Inspection " button at the upper right
- Complete the form
- Click the Submit button

TIP: The questions that appear on the inspection form are per the manufacturer and device selected. If you do not see your device in the dropdown field, please open a ticket and let us know.
