The dashboard is your jumping off spot to get a glimpse into the activities of your security force with up to the minute details on those activities. There are many interactive elements to this page which we will touch on in this article. Below the image are descriptions of the functionality available at each area of the SOVA Dashboard
Allows modifying your personal profile, adding/editing your image, changing your password and contact details, etc. It's recommended that you change your password regularly. Please write it down and keep it in a safe place.
Each widget can be clicked to be taken to the respective page within the web app. For example, clicking the "Tours" widget would take you to the tours screen, allowing you to see recent tour activities and how your users performed those tours (sequence, checkpoints missed, etc.)
The file storage widget is exactly that - use it as a place to store important phone numbers, group activity at your hotel, hours of operation for your outlets, or even an ADA guest list so in the event of an emergency evacuation, you can quickly get your hands on this important list and provide additional assistance to these guests.
The calendar shows days in various shades of orange. These colors represent activity levels of your team, with darker colors representing higher levels of activity for the given day. This quick visual gives managers an idea when your team is busy and when they're not, allowing you to provide some direction if activity levels drop below proscribed levels. Clicking a colored square opens a popup with a summary of the days' activities.
The message board (mostly cutoff in the view above) allows your team to leave quick notes to each other, or for managers to get important information to the team, like VIP arrivals, upcoming training, etc.
The navigation menu is where you can get to most areas of the application in two clicks. Each item in this menu will be discussed in detail in another article. To explore these menus, simply do a search in the Knowledge Base for the topic of interest.
