Performance Report

The performance report in SOVA allows you to compare performance metrics between members of your security team. From seeing who conducts the most tours, to who visits the highest percentage of checkpoints attempted, the performance reports gives this visibility and more.

Below is a performance report from one of our clients:


  1. Allows setting a date range for the report data.
  2. Downloads the report using a date range (if set, otherwise shows the last 3 days by default).
  3. Clicking a user name loads an activity log for the user for the last 3 weeks.
  4. Total hours spent on tour by the user for the dates selected. Clicking this value shows a log of all tours submitted by the selected user for the last 3 weeks
  5. Total hours completing Non-Tour Tasks (NTT's) by the user for the dates selected.
  6. Count of NTT's for the selected date range. Clicking this value shows a count of the various tasks completed by this user, his/her average time to complete these tasks, and the average time for these tasks by all officers to be used for comparisons
  7. A ratio of tours completed / tours started. For a tour to be considered "complete", 80% of the tour buttons must be visited. Squares are colored green if the ratio of tours completed divided by tours started are in the 80th percentile, yellow for the 70th percentile, and red for the 60th percentile.
  8. A count of checkpoint buttons scanned for the selected date range
  9. A count of checkpoint buttons missed while on tour. Clicking this value shows the tour, checkpoint name and a count of times the checkpoint was missed
  10. A cumulative percentage of checkpoint buttons scanned for all tours started. A 100% would indicate that no checkpoints were missed by this officer for the selected date range 
TIP: The performance report in SOVA can be a powerful motivational tool. Some clients setup awards for the highest hit percentage for a given period. Another use for this report is when it comes time for a security manager to conduct performance reviews. The data in this report can certainly help support a promotion or conversely placing officers on a personal improvement plan (PIP) if in the case of poor performance.
