Persons of Interest (mobile)

Persons of Interest (mobile)

Another useful feature of SOVA is the ability to view all persons of interest (POI's) within SOVA Mobile. Of course, this assumes you are using SOVA Web to track and enroll your POI's. If not, you should begin taking advantage of this advanced feature of the SOVA platform. Once you get up and running with logging your POI's, having that library in the palm of your hand can be a very useful tool for your roving security officers. When your shift officers arrive and get clocked in, you can require them to review all POI's so they can stay updated on suspicious persons, trespassers, or other undesirables frequenting your properties.

The POI list is viewable from the user context menu of SOVA Mobile.

  • Open the user context menu and select "Persons of Interest"

  • The screen below opens showing you all POI's ordered by Threat Level:

  • Threat Level is shown in the red circle with a range of 1 (low threat) to 10 (high threat)
  • Icons indicate if the POI is male or female, since names are often not known
  • Basic physical characteristics are shown
  • Images are clickable
  • Clicking the edit icon opens the POI record and gives more detailed information which is shown below:

  • All encounters recorded with the POI are shown on screen along with detailed information about the person of interest.

NOTE: Adding POI data via the mobile device is not currently available but it is on our roadmap. Entering POI data is done from the web, while the mobile device gives a convenient way to view and learn about the persons of interest in your area.
