Processing visitors in SOVA takes place when a visitor enters or exits your facility. There are only a few steps to cover in this article.
Navigate to Visitor > Process Visitor.
Scan an existing visitor badge, or enter a visitor ID for a visitor already enrolled into SOVA. If you want to process a visitor and they are not enrolled yet, first read the article on adding visitors.
Scan any equipment ID's for equipment items that should be checked out to this visitor.
If needed, you can update the visitor information from this screen, or add a new image. After completing any edits, be sure to click the green "Update Visitor" button before proceeding. From this screen you can also print a visitor pass, or check in the visitor.
Below is our process visitor screen filled in and ready to process this visitor:

Below shows a screen that appears after clicking the "Print Pass" button, and is an onscreen version of the visitor pass that would be sent to your printer:
Next, click the green button in the first screenshot above to "Check In Visitor". The visitor is checked in successfully. Navigate to Visitor > Visitor List. Here you will see the visitor arrival date, and the expiry date of their pass. From this screen we can search for visitors, use the orange button at the top right to "Scan Visitor ID", and use the A-Z buttons to quickly search for visitors by name. You will see below that our visitor disposition is showing as checked in. Using the action icon, we can perform other actions such as editing and processing the visitor, viewing a log of recent visits, and deleting the visitor. We can also check the box to the left of the "ID" column to perform bulk processing of visitors like checking them in or out, or changing their status from active to inactive:
