Visitor Dashboard
The visitor dashboard in SOVA is designed to be run from a touch screen monitor or tablet computer, and that's why it is designed with colorful, easy to "touch" buttons. Typically, our clients run a security department with a dedicated stand-up work station in a guard tower, security base, etc. This work station is located near a transaction window where security staff can process visitors and checkout equipment using the Visitor Dashboard interface shown below. You can certainly run the dashboard from a standard monitor with a mouse and keyboard if that's your choice.

Features of the Visitor Dashboard:
- This option is also available by navigating to Visitor > Process Visitor. Click this button or navigate via the menu whenever you need to check in or check out a visitor
- Allows scanning a barcode ID to activate a visitor record
- Shows a count of currently checked in visitors
- Filters the visitor list to show visitors that have visited, or are expected to visit, for the current day
- Creates a PDF of currently checked in visitors. Used during evacuations
- Shows a count of visits for the current today (could be checked in, or already checked out)
- For future development. Currently not used
- Opens the process equipment screen. Screen is ready to accept a barcode scan for an equipment user (requires a subscription to the equipment module in SOVA)
- A count of pre-bookings for the current day
- A count of equipment items that are currently checked out (requires a subscription to the equipment module in SOVA)
