How to install the SOVA mobile app

If you are familiar with installing apps on the Android operating system, this process should be very straight forward as our app is available in the Google Play store. Below are some screenshots to help you along as you install the SOVA mobile app for Android.

If you are starting with a new phone, first power up the device and follow the startup prompts which will usually include adding an existing Google account to the device or creating a new Google account. After the initial system configuration is complete, follow along with the steps below to install the SOVA mobile app.

Installing the SOVA mobile app

  • With your device on and fully charged, visit the Google Play store. The current English site can be found at https://play.google.com/store?hl=en as of the date of this article
  • From inside the Play Store, search for "SOVA Guard Tracker"
  • If you don't find SOVA Guard Tracker listed in the Play Store, it is possible that your device is not compatible with the application. If this is the case, please contact us for assistance
  • Once you have located the SOVA Guard Tracker app, select it to install it
  • When installation is complete, launch the app and accept all the permissions the app is requesting. These permissions are required for the proper functioning of the app
  • Enter your activation ID when requested. This code was issued to you when you signed up for service. If you need to contact us for your code, please be sure to call us from a number that exists in your profile. We will ask you to provide responses to your security questions, so be sure to have those handy when calling
  • After entering your activation ID, the app will open to your login screen
  • Scan your login RFID token to gain access to the app
