Wireless Panic Buttons

Wireless Panic Buttons

We are actively developing a wireless panic alarm system for integration into SOVA that we hope to roll out in a couple months. The system is hardware and software based, and uses small, wireless panic buttons similar to the image here to communicate with your internal WiFi to send alerts to desktop and mobile users when the button is pressed. Because multiple users are notified simultaneously, it allows for rapid response times without the need for a PBX operator to be present. All at once, your entire managing team can be notified of an emergency situation (even those who happen to be off property).

The hardware can be mounted anywhere - all you need is an active WiFi connection. A single AA battery powers each device for years. Each button configured for use in SOVA will sell for around $75 and has an annual fee of $15. Possible locations for these panic alarms would be at each of your front office workstations, at outlying F&B or retail outlets, inside your housekeeping closets on your guest floors, inside your Executive Office, at Human Resources or Finance, etc.

Let us know if you are interested and we'll keep you updated as we get ready to begin beta testing.

UPDATE: Rollout of our wireless buttons began in April of 2018. Clients are using these devices in interesting ways to improve efficiencies and achieve near instant communications when mission critical events happen at their business. Get in touch and we can discuss some use-cases that may be of interest to you.
