Updating your mobile device to the latest app version

  1. Tap the Play Store icon in your device  . If you cannot see your Play Store icon, you may need to tap the button at the bottom of your device to show all apps
  2. In the Play Store, tap the three horizontal lines at the top left 
  3. A menu will open. From the menu, select "My apps & games" at the top
  4. A screen will open. At the top, you will see three tabs named Update, Installed and Library. Tap the green "Updates" tab at the top (if not already selected)
  5. Tap the refresh icon   
  6. Tap the "Update all" button. If you would rather just update SOVA, scroll down to SOVA Guard Tracker and tap the "Update" button at the right
Check your app version by logging into SOVA and selecting "About" from the user context menu. If you do not see the "Update" icon in the Play Store, an alternative would be to (1) complete all tours and tasks in the mobile device, (2) logout all active users, (3) delete the app from your device, (4) restart your device, (5) install a new copy of SOVA from the Play Store. Please note, if you do this, you will need to enter the activation ID for your company when launching the SOVA app, so be sure to have that handy.
