How to clear browser cache and cookies
Chrome
- In the upper right hand corner, select the Menu, choose More Tools, and select Clear browsing data…
- In the Clear browsing data popup, choose a time range like 'All time'
- Ensure the check boxes are selected for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
- Click the button marked 'Clear data'
- Alternatively, enter chrome://settings/ in your browser URL bar then select Privacy and Security from the left menu
Firefox
- In the upper right hand corner, select the Menu, choose Settings, and in the page that loads, select the Privacy & Security menu.
- Under Cookies and Site Data, select Clear data...
- Ensure the check boxes are selected for Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content
- Select Clear
- Alternatively, enter about:preferences#privacy in your browser URL bar then under Cookies and Site Data click the Clear data button
Safari
- In the upper left hand corner, select the Safari, choose Preferences, and select the Privacy tab.
- Under Cookies and other website data, select Remove All Website Data
- Select Remove Now
Microsoft Edge
- Select Menu > Settings
- Choose 'Privacy, search, and services' from the left navigation bar
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
- Select a time range, like All time
- Ensure the check boxes are selected for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
- Click the Clear now button
iOS (Safari)
- From the home screen, tap the Settings button
- On the Settings screen, scroll down and tap the Safari button
- Under the ‘Privacy’ section of the Safari screen, tap the button labeled Clear History and Data
- On the confirmation screen, tap Clear Cookies and Data
Android
- Open the browser and click the Menu button on your phone. Tap the More option
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down to the Privacy settings section and tap the Clear cache option.
- Now tap the Clear all cookie data option.
- Select OK.
