Shift notes are added from the user context menu in SOVA Mobile, and are used to convey basic information about the shift. Note: this should not be used for emergency or time sensitive communications, there are other features in SOVA for that such as E-Notify and the 22 notification systems built into SOVA which are found in the Communication screen.

• Open the user context menu and select "Shift Notes"
  
• The screen opens below
  
• Compose your message, which is automatically timestamped, and tap the save button
