How do I delete lost and found items?
Currently there is not a function to delete lost and found inquiries or items. This is because the potential exists that you could create a LF item, print a bag tag, delete the lost and found record, then try to scan the bag tag and the system would not be able to locate the scanned item. The idea is that each lost and found record added is unique. If you need to correct an error, all you would do is create a new record with the correct information, and disregard the previously created, incorrect record. If you have many lost and found records that need to be purged, say for instance you were doing some training with your staff and entering test data, let us know and we will be happy to clean up and remove your test lost and found records.
